Hope Everyone Had a Wonderful Mother's Day

Horse at Clam Beach

It was a beautiful day on the North Coast. A bit windy but sunny and clear. We got out and I was able to take a few pictures.

I saw several people out riding at clam beach. Here are a couple of pics.

I hope everyone got to get out and do something fun. :)

Classified Ads Section is Now Working!

The fog has rolled back in, but I can see the sun calling from just over the hills. It is a great day for riding. :)

We finally got the classified ads section up and running. I am still working on making it look "pretty", but it is there and ready to use. I created some basic categories. If you have any category suggestions, let me know.

I added a few ads I saw in the recent Tri-City. Please feel free to submit your ads. They are free. Please keep the ads related to horse and farm related products and services, etc. Spread the word and let others know they can post their ads.

Getting Above the Fog on the North Coast

The rains finally stopped about a week ago and we had a couple of sunny days, but the fog has been dominant for the past week or so. The kind of fog where you can just see glimpses of blue sky to the East over the mountains--teasing you.

Today I just had to see some sun, so we all climbed into the truck and took a ride up to Kneeland. It was beautiful. It felt so good to get above the fog, feel the sun's rays and see the mountains and valleys. We saw lots of deer, horses and cows soaking up the sun.

It doesn't look like there is much snow left on Horse Mountain or Snow Camp, but I am sure we will get a few more storms before the winter season is over.

I saw lots of activity at Freshwater Stables as we drove by. People hustling about cleaning pastures and tending to horses. Looked like everyone was anxious to get rid of the winter muck and get started with spring fun.
